I was given a copy of Seth by Eve Langlais to read by Net Galley. Now I have been a fan of Eve Langlais for a while and would have eagerly read this book anyway. I really do love a good cyborg or alien story and Eve certainly is able to write both of those and do a damn good job at it as well. I was ready for a good story, one that would keep my interest and provide some entertainment for me and this one did not disappoint. We were able to reconnect with some of our favorite cyborgs from past stories as well as learning a little bit more about how cyborgs came to be. I found in extremely interesting and I was hooked from the very first page. Eve is also a Canadian. Huh, we do have some great authors this side of the border. Way to go Eve!
Happy reading everyone.

Seth

Eve Langlais

This story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review.

I love this author, from her aliens to werewolves and shifter to her stories on cyborgs she does not disappoint. You know that when you start to read one of her stories you are getting a good solid story line, catching up on some past favorite characters and of course watching your new favs have some fabulous hot sex.

Seth and Anastasia were both human operatives working on undercover missions when the powers that be changed them slowly into cyborgs. They were then allowed to marry but of course that did not last for long as soon they found themselves torn apart.

Years later Seth is working trying to free all the cyborgs and has never forgot or stopped loving his wife. She contacts him to help her in an undercover assignmet to try to bring down the head honchoes, the really big fish.

Of course they are working really closely together. The old feelings are still there. The sparks start to fly. The sex is going to be hot and feverish.

There is plenty of drama as these two try to bring down the evil forces. There is a few tense moments when we truly question their future and whether they will even live long enough to have one. The story kept me interested in finding out what happened and furiously turning the pages.

I love this series. I really enjoy how this author takes the couple in the first story and just expands on it. She does a great job. I would rate this story 5/5
